A single check valve protects against the risk of backflow and back siphonage contaminations. Floguard single check valves are a compact, lightweight solution ideal for all class 2 contamination risks are per water supply (water fittings) Regulations 1999.

Class 2 contamination risks apply to any water supply that could cause backflow into drinking water giving it a foul taste but without causing medical problems for the user. Floguard allows high flow rate with minimum pressure drop, giving good flow rates through the single check valve.
